I'm Renaud Conti, a destination wedding filmmaker based in Provence and Europe.

I'm french, I live in this beautiful part of South of France, but I also lived for a while in New Zealand so I can speak easily english with you.

I'd be honored to capture the priceless moments, emotions, sounds, colours and movements of your wedding, and make them eternal.

Every couple is totally unique and has its own expectation about its wedding film.

How can I explain it shortly : For me, a film is much more than beautiful images and sounds.

It is the art of telling a very peculiar and unique story, your story.

This is a skill I also learnt while working for documentary films and corporate films. If you are curious you can have a look at my other work here.

Editing your film regardless of the trends

In the same guideline than for my color grading work, I consider that a clean and refine film editing will give the most elegant film.

No need to add transitions and effects tricks all over the place.

Simply knowing when, where and how to capture the right moments during the D Day will allow me to build a stunning story in the tradition of French and Italian Cinematography.

To me, the real art and beauty is to keep things natural and fluid giving the film a sense of timelessness.

The importance of sound and music

The sound and music of your film are such a key to master in order to make a real cinematic feeling.

Before finding my path as a wedding cinematographer in Provence, I spent many years as a professional guitar teacher, music composer, and stage musician.

Now, I draw on all that professional musical experience to shape every film I create.

I know how important is the quality of the sound and the use of the right musics for your film in order to add depth to it.

The image and the sound are supposed to work together in symbiosis.

I'm using all my skills and experiences in music composing, studio recording and sound mixing in order to deliver you a film with a specific ambient and a good rythme

The music part is such a subjective and intimate choice that works with our own emotions, feelings and memories.

Also, I give you the opportunity to choose some musics of your film if you wish so.

Regarding the sound recording of the ceremony and the speeches, I take it very seriously as I know many emotions can be express throughout the voice, during the vows and the speeches.

So I want to capture every sigh, laughter, cry or whisper with the most accurate sound possible, a crisp audio.

Thus, I always record with high-end device recorders, directly plugged on the sound system of the ceremony (and DJ sound system) in order to get the best quality possible.

I'll also put a high-end lavalier microphone on the groom if he agrees with it, in order to have a second microphone as a back-up.

We'll take time to talk about the recording and the music soundtrack of your wedding film more in detail while preparing the wedding videography together.

4K Ultra High Quality Resolution for your wedding films

Nowadays, many films are still delivered in HD resolution, but your film will be shot and delivered in 4K resolution in order to have 2 times more details in the image.

Though 4K is still considered sometimes as luxious very high quality resolution, I'm sure in a few years it will be considered as the new professionnal quality standard.
